Especially when it comes to Your Illness, Your Weight Issues, Your Fitness and Your Nutrition.
Have you ever wondered why it’s so hard to get the “real truth” about the subjects of weight control and fitness? There are literally dozens of weight control and fitness programs available from all sorts of “credentialed” gurus out there.
After listening to and reading a voiced over texted 45 minute lecture (which you can’t pause or stop lest you lose the “opportunity” for ever) promising the latest miracle, “unbelievable” quick fix pill, powder or capsule, newly discovered by a brilliant doctor who will share his genius only with a select few, (and you are one of the lucky ones, If you order in the next 17 ½ minutes). You have a “60 day money back guarantee” on not $1000, the real value, not even $500, nor $200 or $100 but only $37. (Can you believe it?) [I think we all know where this is going. Don’t we?]
First of all, understand that we have been trained in our society to seek, hopefully, quick fixes after our health weight and fitness have gone to hell in a basket. Kind of like what my daddy used to refer to when he said “slamming the barn door with gusto after the horse has long gone down the road”.
I’ve got a couple questions.
Why does all of advice and information have a price tag on it? Well, if there wasn’t money to be made by selling the remedy no one could afford to take the time to promote it to you. Think about this. The majority of pharmaceuticals began by taking natural herbs, that the old herbalists used to wander around the fields and collect from Mother Nature. The “companies” would isolate out some of the active ingredients from the herbs, slap a cool pharmaceutical name on them, patent them, and charge you, and your insurance company, astronomical prices. You see, the old herbalists could only charge you for his help and knowledge but the “mother Herb” was free. (Not Patentable with huge “added value”)
Problem, if it is profitable how do I tell the real useful remedy from the dozens of imposters making the same “miracle” claims?
Have you ever noticed that the videos and promotional claims say the exact same thing to you that is being said to everyone else who happens to be the “chosen ones” to receive the message? Do you mean that this stuff will work on a man who is 74 years of age, 27 pounds overweight, with a sedentary metabolism and plummeting energy levels, the same as it will work on a 35-year-old woman whose “belly fat” struggles come from a thyroid issue, insulin resistance and metabolism concerns resultant from actually never recovering her “slim and trim” from her last pregnancy?
When you started out in life were you healthy? (Most of us were, some weren’t but almost all of us who are adults were quite a bit better than, than we are now.)
What does the word healthy mean? Generally that means not “messed up”. And illness means not healthy.
What did it cost to get sick? Why should it cost to get well if you simply remove what “messed you up” and allow your body to return you to health?
Throughout the history of the human race how did shamans, medicine men, healing priests and herbalists help people get well? The successful ones were able to tune in to the individual and help them with remedies and procedures to “return” to health.
Don’t even start with me as to whether I’m suggesting that the next time you have a sick friend or relative that you toss them into a sweat lodge, burn some sage and waft the smoke over them with a turkey wing. (Although for some problems that could be a very valuable solution.)
Here’s a point. Modern medicine is wonderful but what most people don’t understand is that what you do in your mind will determine your outcome significantly more than medicines or practices no matter how sophisticated. You have the creative power in your mind to literally determine your ability to “return” to health. What you do with your mind in totally focusing on the “outcome” that you desire, is to take the nutrition, the medication and procedures at your disposal and fit them exactly your individual needs, condition, problems and challenges.
Please remember that “One Size Does Not Fit All”.
You are an individual different in many ways from every other individual and magnificent in your differences. When it comes to your health the promise is that you have the magic, the power to be the most perfect you health wise. You can choose to do this by applying a formula called The Guardian Code. Which, oddly enough, you have actually been applying all of your life. And
