Uncertain what to do? Scared and discouraged? Don’t start job hunting until you take time to think about a tremendous advantage you already have. It’s a “skill” (a gift as it were) you have been developing over your entire lifetime that I don’t think you would want to throw away or ignore. It is the technique you have used to accomplish anything (or not) you have ever achieved in your life. And you are a master of this skill.
However, be careful the “dark or failure side” of this gift is an activity called Worry. The “success and prosperity side” of this gift is Daydreaming.
Yes it’s true, if you are good enough at practicing worry and fear to have yourself in a tough situation I will guarantee that your gift is powerful enough to set goals, apply “The Guardian Code”, and daydream your way out of this mess. (More about this in other parts of this site.)
Remember earlier that I said think first before you job hunt? Don’t you think the first goal you set should be to find, not just another job, but the best work for you to do at this point in your life. What if there was a way to give yourself a tremendous advantage in finding the ideal “work” for you to do? I use the word “work” for a reason. Your ideal “work” might not be “employment”. It may be best for you to be an employer, work by yourself or pursue a “career”. Remember the reason we are given problems and failures in our life, like unemployment, is to force us to change something that we have been doing. In your case your destiny might be to change what you “think” you should be doing. So now start finding “your work” using the principles of “The Guardian Code”, found on this website.
Remember the concept that what you think about and have feelings about most of the time is what your life will bring you? (Very truthfully, “what you think about you bring about”.) If you’re not happy with the uncertainties in your employment and feel like you don’t have power over your destiny, ask yourself a couple of questions.
How would it be to feel so great about your work that you would look forward to getting up in the morning excited to see your uncertainties melt into confident intended results?
How would it feel to have a sense of being needed, appreciated and respected for the security you create for yourself, your love ones and those around you.
How would it feel to know that everyone looks at you the way that you used to look at secure, confident, successful, prosperous, respected folks who seemed to “have it all” and were “living life large”?
Note: One time when I was out of work a friend made a very interesting comment to me. He said, “you have a job, you’re just not gainfully employed. Your job is to find work. If you will put the same kind of effort into finding work as you do when you have work, you’ll find your job very quickly. He then outlined the fact that what I should do was to get up early, get cleaned up and dressed and ready for work. I should be on the “job” by 9 o’clock a.m., take a half hour lunch break and not stop until quitting time. He promised that if I treated finding a job as though it was my work that I would be back employed in no time. And it worked.
In applying The Guardian Code “the achievement system found on this website, you focus totally on the outcome desired in your daydreaming and then act on the ideas and opportunities that come, as “teachers” to you as the “ready student”, this whole system will bring you miracles.
