What if you never had to worry about Money! Money! Money! Never again and could focus totally on the dreams, desires and needs which money provides? The promise is that if you will learn to focus totally on what you will use the money for and ignore the money your life will change forever.
Pick a subject: marriage, survival, success, crime, war, slavery, freedom, peace, joy, happiness, poverty, abundance, self-confidence, security, fear, anger, businesses, nations, civilizations etc. etc.
Arguably, money is the cause of more Creation or Destruction than any other force in the universe.
Money: we fight for it, beg for it, work for it, cheat and steal for it, kill for it, plan and create with it, worry about it, measure our personal worth by it and even kill ourselves over it. Whether we are talking about individuals, businesses, churches, schools, cities, states or nations we are dependent on it.
But yet, nobody even wants all this money. All anyone wants is what the money will buy. So the important thing to keep in mind before we go any further is that the message here will ultimately be the importance of learning to focus on the outcome that money will bring and ignore the money itself.
You see money is like any other dependency, if you don’t have enough for your own needs you forfeit power over yourself to those who control your source of it. In truth no one wants money just what it buys.
Note: if you want power over others, find a way to turn their rights (like “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”) into privileges (either legal or financial) then control the privileges. Here is an example. I’ve said before that food is the greatest dependency but, since we started not growing our own food (being independent) we must depend on money to get our food. [Got food? Don’t need money for food.]
As a result of all this we have the creation of the “New Golden Rule” which states “he who has the gold (money) rules” – by controlling the dependencies of those with less, or little, money”.
Now let’s talk about finance or money as it relates to creating the “wonderful” in your life.
Remember the concept that what you think about and have feelings about most of the time is what your life will bring you? If you’re not happy with your financial situation, feeling like you don’t have the money for your needs and wants, ask yourself a couple of questions.
How would it be to feel so great about your finances that you look forward to paying your bills and obligations and then planning your exciting abundant future? How would the independence of being totally debt free feel?
How would it feel to have a sense of being prosperous, successful and respected never needing to worry about how to make “ends meet”. (It was a banner day when I realized for the first time that I didn’t have to check my balance at the bank to see whether I needed to rush a cash deposit in to cover that days checks.)
How would it feel to know that everyone looks at you the way that you used to look at successful, prosperous, respected folks who seemed to “have it all” and were “living life large”?
