It's Not Your Fault:
A Personal Note from The Guardian
Chapter 1. Michael Meets the Guardian
Michael (representing all of us) meets the Guardian, who is the teacher, giver of all wisdom. Just a thought: "Never show up to a battle of wits unarmed."
Chapter 2. People Think Life Has Handed Them a Lemon
People assume that good fortune in life is just a matter of luck. Wrong. You are more magnificent than that.
Chapter 3. Your Life is Like a Perfect Building
The secret to joy in life is returning to your original perfection after you disappoint yourself. When you are down, there's no need to kick yourself.
Chapter 4. The Magic of Faultlessness
With no time or energy being wasted on determining fault, things get fixed at lightning speed.
Chapter 5. Guilt: The “UnOriginal” Sin
What if we discovered that guilt is the greatest sin, the roadblock to our magnificence?
Discovery: Anytime you see anger or judgment, you are always looking into the eyes of guilt. –The Guardian
Chapter 6. Victims Have Big “Buts”
"Excuses are always the reason, but never the cause, for failure." –The Guardian
"I could have, BUT…"
"I would have, BUT…"
Chapter 7. You Say You Love Me. Prove it!
Victims don't have relationships; they take prisoners and demand ransoms. Enablement is blackmail and terrorism in which YOU may already be an unwilling participant.
Chapter 8. The Past Does Not Exist
The majority of stress in our lives and our disbelief in a magnificent future are caused by beating ourselves up over a past that no longer actually exists.
Chapter 9. The Law of Me
Everything that you do, say, or think is measured against how it makes you feel about you.
Chapter 10. Self-Image: The Great Mirror
When we asked the question "who am I," the answer we received in our mind is the image that we project on the movie screen of our life.
Chapter 11. Judgment
Guilt creates victims. Judgment is the weapon that is constantly used against the victims to reinforce guilt. But remember, when you see judgment you're always looking at guilt. (This is not just a circle it's actually a sphere.)
Chapter 12. Approval
Approval is the ultimate in judgmentalism. The most, and only, important approval that each of us needs is of ourselves.
Chapter 13. Unconditional Love
Unconditional love means that I have no rules, guidelines, requirements or standards that you have to meet for me to love you. You deserve all of my respect and need none of my "approval."
Chapter 14. Agency: The Freedom to Choose
The sum total of our choices becomes who we are and what we achieve.
Sometimes the wisest choice in a decision can be made by asking the question "can I afford to be wrong?"
Chapter 15. The Wonder Hugger
When people are in conflict they will always distance themselves from each other. If distance is disaster, can you imagine what a hug would be?
Chapter 16. The Big Push…Away!
When people have an image of themselves which is so poor that they're convinced that everything really is "their fault," they will always push anyone away that might convince them otherwise. It's the suicide mentality that says, "don't confuse me with the facts—my mind is made up."
Chapter 17. Move Over, Casanova and Don Juan. Here Comes Bob
"Love isn't something you do to someone, it's something you let them feel about themselves." –The Guardian
Chapter 18. I Like Me Best When I’m With You
The better we truly know someone, the better we will like them. (With some exceptions.)
The best thing someone can say to you is "I like me best when I'm with you."
Chapter 19. The Four Confusions
The majority of people are confused over:
The law of me versus selfishness.
Having sex versus making love.
The words of the law versus the intent of the law.
The question "who am I" to which all assume they know the answer but very few truly do.
Chapter 20. The Four Universal Laws
The LAW OF ME by which all life is measured.
The LAW OF AGENCY is our irrefutable right to choose.
The LAW OF JUSTICE consists of all the absolute sets of rules that need no interpretation or justification but just "are."
The LAW OF CREATION is the ultimate power we have to create, which is THOUGHT.
Chapter 21. A Return to Perfection
You always retain the capability of being the most perfect you possible.
Chapter 22. Is the Pen Really Mightier than The Sword
The pen, whether creating your destiny or taking out the trash of history, is truly more powerful than any weapon in creation.
Chapter 23. The Law of Justice
When you are in alignment with a universal law, the result is always predictable because it "just is."
Chapter 24. The Law of Creation
Choose your thoughts carefully. They are the two-edged sword of your creation for good or for nothingness.
Chapter 25. Goals and Objectives: The Power of Faith
Daydream and create your charmed life.
Chapter 26. Failure as the Pathway to Success
Be honest. If everything in your life was satisfactory, where would be the reason to think, grow, improve, and become magnificent? The greater the failure, the greater the motivation, and the greater the achievement.
Chapter 27. Gratitude
The key that locks away the darkness and requires the abundance of the universe to flow endlessly to creation.
Zone A: Baby, It’s Not Your Fault
Zone B: The Abandoned Child
“It's Not Your Fault” is a huge issue for an abandoned child who is dealing with, believe it or not, GUILT.
Zone C: It’s Not Your Fault for Dogs
Do animals deal with all the same issues people do?
Zone D: Addictions
An addiction is only a means of hiding from life. If life were truly fun, charmed, and exciting, would there be a need for the addiction?
