Warning: The views expressed in the following blog may seem harsh and intensely, judgmentally opinionated. Please read no further if you are unable to handle the frightening truth. The observations expressed here are the result of 35 years, in the food industry, working hard to providing safe, healthy food to America’s families of the quality that I was willing to feed my own children and grandchildren. There are problems that we are up against with food (your body’s fuel supply) in America. Once you understand the problems you will be able to set a “goal” to find your own personal, the and you is you will pose a he is a you and you is a he and a will and is used in the she and he will you he will and you and that you and you and you and when you do it will I be back, and safe solution.
Food, “Opportunity for profit” trumps morality and wisdom. When you look at the food that is provided for the American diet you have to ask yourself where is the morality in the food supply industry. The processing, preservatives, additives and marketing tactics connected with the food we are provided to eat can be seen only as, “amoral”, opportunities on the part of suppliers to profit from the greatest dependency we have, Food.
Here is a quotation you may have heard from me before. “The extent to which you are dependent is the extent to which you have given power over yourself to that on which you depend”.
If you look at the weight loss, fitness and illness discussions you have to realize that the food in the American diet is terrible. So, whatcha gonna do? Remember, we each have to look in the mirror every morning and say “if it is to be it’s up to me”. But what do you run into if you try?
If you should try and go “health nut” and eat closer to nature, organic, or less processed foods, you discover that for some reason it costs you more, a lot more. Example: Does it really cost more to have them simply grind up some old wheat berries for “whole wheat” flour? Of course not. The reason is simple, It’s profit lost. You see when they “process” your white flour they take out the germ and the bran and virtually anything else that has a modicum of nutrition so they can be sold back to you as “additional” products. You get to buy the, non-nutritive waste (white flour), often with dangerous additives included, as in the case of “fast food” hamburger buns.
You should be proud. By paying your hard-earned cash to feed yourself and your family “industrial waste”, significantly enhancing your obesity, you are supporting, of course, agriculture and the grocery industry with its processors of processors, processing remanufactured processed foods. As you get more sick and bloated you support the huge pharmaceutical industry.
Next you are providing wonderful job security for the “healthcare” industry along with its two huge “sub- affiliate” mega-industries of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. With your support of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries you have provided support of one of the largest and most extremely profitable industries of all, the insurance industry.
Note: Honestly what is the best healthcare program you can have? Answer: Get and stay healthy!! (However, in present day America, even if you do the “right thing” you still are required to pay the insurance companies anyway. [What a deal.])
And finally you provide your personal contribution to the endless and certain supply of subjects requiring the services of the death and “disposal” industry.
Have you noticed that all the way along from the “non-food” that you have been being sold to the pharmaceutical industry to the healthcare industry to the insurance industry to the death “care” industry you get to take your hard-earned money and pay every one of them their huge profits for literally “profiteering and farming you to your grave”?
Now, total up the expenses you will have paid all of these industries for them to provide you the terrible, prolonged misery for a significant portion of your life. Tell me whether it’s worth the effort of setting some goals and focusing your magnificent creative power, energy, attention and a little extra cost on finding, planning for and providing good food. The food that you wisely choose will heal, strengthen, energize and maintain the wonderful “bio machine”, freely given you as your birthright into life.
Conclusion: It may be wise to seriously consider the lethal nature of most of our food and decide immediately to protect your family and yourself from your greatest dependency which has now been turned into, potentially, your deadliest enemy. Go Health Nut, that you might truly “live long and prosper”. The choice for health and life is up to you.
